Firstly we wanted to thank everyone for their support & interest this far. We barely had the new band merchandise out of the box and we were overwhelmed with questions and feedback from friends & fans alike. 

We're still working on getting some pictures & details for you but in the meantime, we'll try to answer some questions.


Part proceeds of our band merchandise will be re-invested into furthering TungXsten's name in the music scene....we're keeping those plans under wraps at the moment but they will be revealed in due course.


Most of our band merchandise is priced at around $15


Sizes range from Small to XXL


Each garment is available in black or white unless otherwise noted

We've got a number of sizes per style and per colour which really does mean we have limited numbers of stock. 

I can't stress this enough - if you have your heart set on a style or colour... contact us immediately.

Sneak Peak of Band Merchandise

It's been a huge month behind the scenes at TungXsten HQ as we've been organising the new merchandise and it's finally arrived. We'll be uploading some photo's and details for you real soon but we couldn't resist giving you a sneak peak....

Rumours, Innuendo & Shouts Outs

As the Easter weekend rolls by, we've had another huge week at TungXsten HQ with models and merchandise and logo designs. We've got lots of shout outs & news to get through this week too so lets hop to it.


The Faces of TungXsten
Last month Incandescent Imaginings & Perth Metal Space summoned 12 of Perth's metal bands to feature in their 2013 calendar represented by Perth's hottest metal chicks to help showcase band merchandise. After some careful head hunting, we recently announced the winners on Facebook.

Hollie G. & Lana B. 

Hollie and Lana will be representing us as The Faces of TungXsten. We'd like to congratulate them one more time and also thank them for doing us the honour of gracing us with their beauty. You can check out their pic's here.


We'll be sending them off with the lovely Ashleigh from Incandescent Imagining Photography for a day of hair & makeup & picture's some time in May/June. Hope they have a great day.


Rumours & Innuendo
Rumour has it that the Connor Vlahov - the culprit behind the TungXsten logo - is at it again. When we had to make the logo screen printer friendly, we lost a lot of the detail. So he's at it again; reviving the image into its former glory and working on another one that is rumoured to have a body. We can't wait to see what he comes up with this time.


Shout Out's
Firstly, we'd like to thank everyone for their support with the Faces of TungXsten promo - everyone who spread the word, offered their feedback & opinions, shared the pic's and volunteered for the job. A special mention must go out to Karla Baker for bravely volunteering - unfortunately for us, she had to withdraw her offer.

Another shout out to Ms Izzy Vlahov!!
Izzy is currently recovering from one of the most spectacular broken arms of in the history of the world. She managed to break not one, but both of the bones in her forearm, spend a night in a specialist children's hospital 60km's from home, undergo surgery and make it home in time for tea the following day. We hope she's feeling better and she heals up nicely. 


Band Merchandise
After a lot of work finding printers, designing the logo and deciding on styles & colours the band merchandise has finally been approved. We'll soon have a number of garments available in both black and white and in a variety of sizes. Items will include:

Stock is limited due the the variety of colours & sizes. Upgrading TungXsten Merchandise

What a massive week! It's been all hands on deck since we heard that TungXsten would be one of twelve bands featuring in a heavy metal chicks calendar - with some of Perth's hottest girls representing the bands -  and we were forced to re-evaluate our band merchandise.

The Faces of TungXsten...

The head hunt continues as we search for the Faces of TungXsten - two girls who will be treated to a day of make up & pampering as they represent TungXsten in the calendar. This really is Perth's heavy metal scene showing off - local models, local bands, local businesses working together to show off some skills, some merchandise and make some connections along the way.

I can confirm, we do have one Face of TungXsten in mind, but we're still looking for the other - all you have to do is post a photo on our Facebook Wall or send us an email. The photo shoot will be on a Saturday in May or June. The purpose of the calendar (besides the hot girls) is to showcase band merchandise. We've got some details here if you're interested or you can contact the photographer at Incandescent Imaginings.

Behind the scenes... 

On a personal note, we've each had a huge week of work and family (even managed to slip a wedding in there & a trip to Adelaide) which we capped off on Saturday night when we played at a private party. It's always great to blow off some steam and play amongst friends.

We've been looking for screen printers...

And failing. We're currently waiting to hear back from some companies, lets hope they can deliver on time.

We've been arguing with technology....

And actually winning - for once! Who would have thought it would be so difficult to get these logo's ready?! 

On the plus side, now we know all about converting and editing vector files.

 And we've been designing some TungXsten shirts.

Note that the logo's on the shirts don't have as much detail as the design in the photo above? The shirts are printed using a single colour - either black or white - where the logo in the design is using two tones. Decisions, decisions.

 It's a work in progress, but you get the idea. It's been a lot of work and if you didn't know us any better, you might even imagine we know what we're doing! There are also some plans for slogans around the corner - make sure you remind us.

So there you have it. Heaps of stuff going on and heaps of stuff yet to do. We'll be announcing the Faces of TungXsten very soon so if you know someone who's got what it takes, who can follow a photographers instruction and who is brimming with self confidence, then we want to speak them. Make sure you come and hang out with us on Facebook some time - we always love to hear your feedback.

Metal Chicks Calendar

Perth Metal Space and Incandescent Imaginings are currently organising their 2013 calendar featuring twelve of Perth's heavy metal bands and the rockin chicks that come with the local metal music scene. 

We've just received news that TungXsten will be featuring in the calendar. 

Admittedly, the boys themselves will not be pictured - they just don't have the legs for it - which is why we are looking for some sexy, confident rock chicks who are ready to become the face(s) of TungXsten. 

The purpose of the calendar is to showcase band merchandise on the hottest chicks the local music scene has on offer and so the head hunting begins! 

No experience necessary but it will help. The photo shoot will be held on the weekend to accommodate working hours. 


It's still early days so we'll be releasing some more info in the coming weeks but we can confirm that TungXsten will be hand picking the lucky models for the gig.
